This place sucks, First I waited 3 hours in pain to get called to a room to wait 20 more minutes for the doctor to come in, He was in the room for no more than 2 minutes, The discharge was another 10minutes, On top of that I heard the nurses talking about Rat's in the break room, And Dish's that have been dirty for a week in the break room, The nurses take long smoke breaks on a facility that says no smoking. And when I asked the front desk lady how long Is the wait, She couldn't tell me. This place was such a bad experience I never want to go back.
Unhappy Father of a sick child -
I had an out patient procedure done on 3/23/17. The whole staff was wonderful, Dr. Binkard was excellent. The surgery unit was really nice and i felt really comfortable. the staff was very negligible and helpful! thank you so much Elmore Community Hospital.
Worst hospital I ever went to. Been in the damn waiting room for almost 2 hours, ain't been called back or anything and it's not even busy here. Got 4 others waiting to see a doctor. This place sucks, go to Tallassee if u can, I'll. Never come back here.
The nursing staff (Pam) is horrible and very rude. Pam was the nurse that handled my sons situation. She is extremely rude and unprofessional. She treats the patients like burdens vs. patients. The rooms look like an old hospital clinic / roach motel. I would seriously drive past this place in an emergency situation. The doctor basically goes off what ever diognosis you think or tell him you may have.
Dr. England may be an ok Dr for men, but I still feel like I'm dying after four days of severe low abdomen pain. He didn't even know to check my appendix.Gave me some stupid script for a guess it's a UTI. I've had UTIs....this is Not a UTI, but in 3 days I could die and noone would care or it may work. BTW, I barely scraped my body off the couch to go to the ER where I thought someone would have the sense to x-ray and see if something was ruptured. Like an obvious appendix or ovarian cyst. But nope. Here I sit in excruciating pain waiting for, I'm certain at this point of my pain, death by not LOOKING IN MY ABDOMINAL REGION. WHAT A BUNCH OF QUACKS. I don't care where you live, don't go here go to Baptist or Jackson ER. They don't care. I am allergic to pain meds and never want any. I just want to not be in pain one more day. I'm healthy, active, a busy body, and I'm flattened by this pain. They were not busy, I was the only one there and they couldn't wait to watch me leave. Lucky if you get 5O¢ a month from me for sending me home like this, ECH. I'll update my review when I get to an actual healthCARE facility and find out what's REALLY wrong with me.
